Many roles require a background check and clearance.
Strong communication, punctuality, and willingness to learn.

Having these upfront keeps the process smooth and fast.
Driver’s license or state ID (and any required work authorization if applicable).
Photo or PDF copy is fine.
Even if you’re new — include customer service, childcare, or teaching experience.
If you already have them; if not, we’ll tell you what to do next.
Days/times you can work and how far you can travel.
Steps to become an RBT
Here’s the typical path. We can guide you through each step and help you stay organized.
Start your intake + document checklist
Submit your info, resume, and documents. We’ll confirm what you’re missing and what comes next.
Complete the required RBT training
Finish the training requirement (commonly 40 hours). We’ll point you to the right option and help you track it.
Competency assessment with a qualified supervisor
You’ll demonstrate key skills and get signed off by a qualified clinician (e.g., BCBA). We can coordinate this step.
Apply for the exam + schedule testing
Complete the application and schedule your exam. We help you understand the process and avoid common mistakes.
Pass the exam + start working
Once you pass, we’ll help you move into onboarding steps and placement options (clinic and/or in-home).
